Kearney’s Feed Yard has been serving the community since Sept 2019 from a mercantile to a feed store and now a restaurant. All products and menu are dedicated to using locally sourced ingredients that definitely hit the spot to tell a Texas Food Story.
But because of the recent events from COVID -19 that limit people from eating and getting their favorite food in there most loved restaurant, Kearney’s Feed Yard manager Seth together with his wonderful staff came up with systematic and safety measures to still continue to serve the community. Kearney’s implemented protective measures like wearing gloves and mask at all times for all the staff, and frequent handwashing and extensive cleaning of the restaurant especially areas people touch.
Their market remains open so people can get their food items from hand-cut steaks, ground beef to pasta and even provide curbside service and free delivery within 5 miles. They’re to- go and delivery service starts from 4 pm to 8 pm but they provided an extra hour from 2 pm to 3 pm for seniors/expecting mothers or high-risk people to limit the exposure.
And the newest system that they will be implementing is the Kearney’s Fast Lane which allows you to order and wait for your food from the safety of your car. You just pull in in Kearney’s parking lot and Food Attendants will take the order and place it for you, have it prepared and delivered right to your car.
